You should choose lights that will complement the design of your home, and believe us, with thousands of options out there, you’ll be able to find the right ones.

There are a few things to consider when it comes to lights. First is the colour. Darker tones close up the space, brighter ones open it up. Second, think about the direction of the light. Do you want to lighten the whole room or just one element, an ornament, the floor, just one corner?

Next is the purpose of the light. Accent lights can make one piece of decoration stand out, ambient lighting will affect the mood of the whole room and task lights can be used on writing tables, cabinets, mirrors etc. And the last thing is the area. Dark colours and lighting will work for bigger rooms, and if you have a smaller room bringing brighter light will make it bigger than it is.
