Health Benefits of Comfortable Dog Bed

I recently went to my brother’s house and his little furry friend, Joe, welcomed me with his tail wagging and a “Oh, look who came to see me, cuddle me, walk me, throw me the frisbee and play with me!” type of barking. I love that cute golden retriever of his, especially because it is always so happy, so friendly and so welcoming; Joe is Heaven to the eyes! Plus, they it gets along so well with my two baby dogs Betty and Bob that it feels like watching your three children play in the yard. Ah, childhood memories.

But during my visit, I noticed that my brother leaves Joe to wander in the yard and that he does not have a bed of his own. But this did not surprise me that much – my brother is not the type of man that pays attention to details like getting a dog bed, despite his enormous love for Joe. So, I explained to him why it is so important to buy dog bed ASAP:

Dog Bed

A Dog Bed Provides Insulation for the Dog

Joe is still a puppy, but once he grows older, sleeping on the cold ceramic floor in the kitchen is just not going to be a pleasant experience for him. Nobody likes sleeping on a cold floor! We don’t even want to stand on it! So if you want your puppy to feel happy and satisfied when going to sleep, buy dog bed that is large, soft, warm and puffy; your dog will be beyond grateful.

Protects Your Dog’s Joints

Sleeping on hard surface is rarely a good thing; your joints hurt, your muscles become sore and you literally feel tired after you get up – imagine the irony. It is pretty much the same with dogs; sleeping on a hard floor hurts their joints the most. And you wonder why they cannot jump, run and play with the frisbee later? Stop thinking that much, it is very simple – buy dog bed.

No Sanity Without a Good Night Sleep

Do you honestly expect your dog to be all positive, jumping and wagging his tail after it has spent a night on a cold, ceramic, wooden or even a marble, hard floor? No, it will be sad, depressed, without any will to do anything and that vision will tear you to pieces. Just like human beings, dogs are not happy without getting a good night’s sleep. They need to rest too. So save yourself the trouble of seeing your dog literally down, and buy dog bed.

Older Dogs Will Be Thankful

A puppy like Joe is still very young and capable of sleeping and napping anywhere at any time. But as dogs get older, they need to sleep in something a lot more softer, a lot more puffier and theirs. Just like us, dogs like to have their own things, especially their own bed. Is there a better feeling than crawling into your own bed when you are tired and need a good night’s sleep? Plus, a softer bed is a lot better for an older dog’s bones and skeleton as it does not put that much pressure on the body.

Your Dog’s Well-Being Is Good for You Too

When your dog has a bed of its own and knows where it needs to go to sleep and rest, you do not need to clean the entire house afterwards. When your dog is well rested and happy, your heart is filled with joy and positive energy. And finally, when he is healthy and joyful, you do not need to think about any vet bills.
