Exploring the 3 Main Benefits of Stadium RC Trucks
Stadium RC trucks were all the craze during the middle of the ’90s as stadium racing was at an all-time high, but soon enough that era came to an end. For a long time, there was little to no interest in stadium trucks as people started focusing more on realistic models, but you could still see some old school electric racers picking them up for modding. As of lately, they have been on a continuous rise though, and the interest for stadium trucks is slowly growing again. The reason for this is the fact that many people have started realizing the advantages that stadium RC trucks have over other RC vehicles. Here are just some of them.
Buggy-like Features
This mighty vehicle has some of the great features of buggies, which makes it both very nimble and stable. The wide positioning of the tires is very similar to the one found on buggies which makes stadium RC trucks hard to trip over and it also keeps theirs inside reasonably clean. They owe their stability, lower ground clearance and the capability to make some pretty high-flying jumps to their lightweight body, which is also a standard feature which has been borrowed from the buggy.
Truck-like Features
Stadium RC trucks are oftentimes called ‘oversized buggies’ because they have some parts that are almost the same as the ones of trucks. These parts are usually bigger and more robust tires, longer suspension arms, bigger wheels, and longer shocks. Due to the fact that these parts are bigger than what a buggy would have, stadium RC trucks benefit from them as well. The obvious advantages are that they can sustain impacts from bigger vehicles pretty decently, and they are also available in the 2WD, 4WD or 4×4 variant with the third one being better at climbing up hills.
Easy Handling & Landing
Because they have some features from both the truck and the buggy, stadium trucks are pretty easy to maneuver, which means they are the perfect gift to get for your kid or someone who is just starting out. Racing with them is something that everyone will enjoy doing even if they are not that into it. Plus, the chances for you to tip over the vehicle are close to none, thanks to the long suspension arms and big wheels. If you are into doing some sick tricks, landing is going to be your least concern as you’ll be able to perform some awesome tricks 90% of the time. Chances are that you will get the hang of this vehicle in no time.
